Emotional Self Care
Having a healthy way to deal with uncomfortable emotions is an important self care skill. Talking honestly about your feelings with someone you can trust or an activity that helps you process your emotions are both great ways to bring emotional self care into your life.
I'm not always the best at expressing my emotions but I do appreciate the few friends that I can talk to and release my feelings. It gives me a chance to process the feelings, see things from someone else's point of view, and know I'm not being judged.
