Open House review

Thank you to all those who came out to our recent Open House. It was so much fun!

Following are some pictures and information about the products that were featured.

 

Our mascot Bella, the sheep, was the honoured guest. Birthday cake was available to enjoy and Bella greeted everyone as they came in the door.

 

Flambe

Flambe is a new DK weight cotton yarn that is so soft to touche. It is suitable for all your Spring and Summer projects. Made with two strands twisted irregularly, thus giving a unique appearance to the yarn. Our sample shawl was made out of three colours. The pattern is called Game Day Scarf and is available on Ravelry.

 

Creative Paper

Have some fun and play with paper! Easy to use and no paper cuts. Get creative making home decor and accessories. Pattern magazine is also available. Our sample flower pot is one of the patterns out of the magazine.

 

Hampton

Hampton is a pima cotton and linen blend of yarn that boasts a delicate texture and shine. The natural look of linen is paired with soft pima cotton in this DK weight yarn is the yarn you will fall in love with. Hampton is the perfect choice for Summer shawls and garments. Available in 15 colours! Our sample top was written by Lauren and is available in store.

 

Opium

New colours of Opium have arrived! Thick and thin yarn to give a textured look to projects. Its perfect for Spring and Summer knits. Our sample shawl was written by Lauren and is available in store.

 

Canada 150 Shawl

We have some Canada 150 Shawl Kits still available. It's a limited edition pattern and is available Summer 2017 only.

This shawl was designed by Lauren in honour of Canada's 150th birthday. It features three maple leaves, one for each fifty years, and four celebratory fireworks.

The kits feature Orange Octopus' hand dyed Canada 150 fingering weight yarn that was dyed specifically for our kits. Some kits also include handmade wooden shawl sticks with maple leaf decoration.
