Summer @ Sweet Yarns

July and August at Sweet Yarns

Hotter temperatures are becoming the norm, kids are almost out of school, camps are being opened, holidays are being planned - Summer has arrived! Are you a big fan of the warm weather or do your hide out in the air conditioning? Whichever you prefer, the crafting continues despite the change in the weather and schedules.

And Sweet Yarns will be open all Summer long with some minor but fun changes. Please read through all the notes below.

Summer Shopping

We are changing things up a bit for July and August.

Starting July 3 and ending  September 3, the store will be open the following hours:
Wednesday/Thursday- 1PM to 6PM
Friday/Saturday - 10AM to 4PM

If those times don't suit, contact the store and we can arrange another day or time.

You can shop on the website 24/7. You can pick up your orders at the store, have it delivered to your home in Greater Sudbury, or have it shipped to you through Canada Post if you live farther away. Deliveries in Greater Sudbury usually occur before or after store hours. Shipping is done usually next business day.

In Store Knit Night

We're offering an In Store Knit Night every Wednesday night through July and August.

Arrival time: 5PM - 6PM
Knitting time: 6PM - 8PM

The store will be closed for shopping other than those in attendance at the Knit Night. Seats must be booked so that I can get the store set up for as many as are coming. Contact the store to book your seat for the Summer or whichever Wednesdays you are available.

Virtual Connections

We're continuing to meet virtually throughout the Summer as well. Join our Virtual Knit Night every Thursday at 6:30PM (one hour) through Facebook Live.

And don't forget to share the projects you're working on in our Facebook Group - Sweet Yarnies.

In Store Knitting

And we'll have in store knitting on Fridays and Saturdays in The Old Haunt (our lounge) from 11 to 2. If you're interested in reserving a spot, please contact the store.

See you this Summer at Sweet Yarns!
